XYZ RENT is Award Winning

XYZ RENT Honored at the 2025 Preservation Awards
The project rehabilitated a substantially deteriorated property comprising a corner stucco building and three cottages, which are designated contributors to the Fourth Street Corner Historic District. Each of the four small buildings required a full scope of rehabilitation and renovation.
The exterior cladding was deteriorating due to prior long-term deferred maintenance. The front entry steps to the cottages were unsafe. Nothing remained salvageable of the interiors. There was no wall insulation in the bungalows, and in some places, there was no finish material, only the back side of the exterior cladding.
Siding and shingle claddings were repaired or replaced where beyond repair. Wood windows were refurbished, and rotted windows were replaced with matching thin mullion sash. The project included new roofing and refurbished exterior finishes.
